Green Valley Recycling does not accept any “hazardous materials”. This includes materials that are radioactive, flammable, explosive or corrosive, oxidizers or asphyxiants, biohazardous, toxic, pathogen or allergen substances and organisms, but also physical condititions as compressed gases and liquids or hot material, including all goods containing such materials or chemicals, or may have other characteristics that render it hazardous in specific circumstances.

Specific hazardous materials that are not accepted include, but are not limited to the following:

bleach cleansers drain cleaners batteries medicine

oven cleaners photgraphic chemicals compact florescent lights (CFLs) antifreeze car batteries

brake fluid gasoline motor oil paint solvents

fertilizer herbicides insecticides pesticides
